Reopening in Sight
The opportunity of reopening is knocking on our door again.
It has been a rollercoaster of a year and we hope we can end on a good note to close 2020 down with some sort of dignity and joy, whilst doing our best to remember this as an experience we hope not to have to live through again.
During the period of closure, we have been busy making some essential repairs, painting, working hard on creating new menus, and training some of the new staff so we are well prepared for the reopening day.
I hope you have also seen Swann’s two new videos, including the Boeuf Bourguignon recipe, and a dish from the Beaujolais Nouveau evening, which sadly had to be cancelled.
Everyone is ready to welcome you back and, as I have suggested previously, we need you back.
In return, we will give you the best food The Great House has ever provided, with a great team that Swann has assembled and Antoine’s signature friendly and efficient service.
I can also add that the menus are superb, and the wine list improved, so make a date, either lunch or dinner, and do come back to see us.
At the time of writing, we still don’t know which tier we will be under; however, we will maintain all the precautions and policies to ensure your stay with us is above all, safe. The number of tables remain reduced to ensure your comfort and safety, therefore, booking is essential.
The whole team is looking forward to welcoming you back and we are delighted to ensure you have an excellent dining experience at The Great House.
So welcome back, thank you for your past support and we hope to see you soon.
With all my personal best wishes,
